Family sessions are all about capturing the real moments. The laughter, the connection, the chaos, the quiet, and everything in between. I want your time in front of the camera to feel like quality time together, not stiff poses or forced smiles. We’ll play, explore, snuggle, and let your family be exactly who you are! These are the memories that become stories, the photos that hang on walls, and the moments you’ll look back on years from now when all the littles are grown up and adding to the family themselves. I’m here to help you preserve them in the most honest, joyful way!
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
Usually an hour will get you between 25-60 photos in a full gallery, and two hours will be between 60-125. It all depends on how many people need to be posed and how quickly the client can learn to pose efficiently. There are no promises on amount of photos in a gallery, but I always strive for 35 Minimum (for an hour family session)!
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes I do! I go through MPix, Pixieset, or Shutterfly!
How should we dress for our family session?
Find a color scheme you like, and get each member to have individual colors on that blend well next to each other as a whole. EX: mom wears blue shirt with white cardigan, dad wears black shirt, child 1 wears a white shirt, child 2 wears blue shirt, etc. Just dress professionally in clean, nice clothing and I will take care of the rest! Also, don't forget to bring extra clothes for young children or newborns in case of any accidents, such as getting dirty, spit up, a simple outfit change, etc.
What’s the best time to have a session with children?
The best time for photos with children is when they’re naturally the happiest, usually earlier in the day or right after a good nap and meal. For outdoor sessions, I typically recommend morning light or golden hour (the hour before sunset) because the lighting is soft and flattering, and kids tend to be more relaxed during those times.
Every child is different, so if you know your little one thrives at a specific time, we’ll plan around that! My goal is to create a session that feels calm, fun, and comfortable for your family—right when your kids are at their best.
What are your payment terms and cancellation policies?
I require that the client pays the down payment of at least 50% 6 weeks prior the shoot day. I will need the full payment before you receive any sneak peaks or full gallery. If the client wishes to reschedule- the payment will carry over to the new date. However, if the client wishes to cancel altogether, The downpayment will not be returned, as it is payment for the date that I may have to pass up on another shoot for. If the client pays in full prior to the shoot, and happens to cancel, they will receive back everything minus the downpayment.
What is your turnaround time for delivering photos?
For most shoots I have a return time of 6-8 weeks, but for Weddings and other big events, It will take around 10-14 weeks. I often get things done and sent sooner, but If I am backed up with shoots It may take the full time.
